ANIMAL FARM THEME QUESTIONS
THEME OF VIOLENCE QUESTIONS
1. The different kinds of violence in the story are: starving the hens to death; Napoleon forcing the animals to do and follow whatever he does and/or wants. Also when Napoleon blames Snowball for committing all the bad things that happen in the farm.
2. In animal farm, Napoleon starts fighting against Snowball, because of disagreements. Then, we also hear that Napoleon wants to make the hens give all of their eggs to him in order to sell them. This causes the hens to rather prefer to brake their eggs, and causes Napoleon to order to not even give gthe hens a grain. Causing the hens to starve to death.
3. Yes, the answers to all of theses questions evolve over the course of the story. We can clearly read/see what is causing all of the violence in the farn, and who is responsible for this problem. Also, we can see/read who vs. who fights and/or have conflicts throughout the course of the animal farm story. we can see how the violence keeps building up throughout the story.
4. Napoleon is able to execute such extremes of violence, and still have the animals think that he's a good guy. This is because Napoleon blames everything bad that happens to Snowball.

Yes, the battles between the animals and humans caused the pigs' corruption, because since the beginning the pigs were the ones that caused all of the violence and battles between the animals and the humans. The pigs started all of this by persuading the animals that humans were the enemies, and they needed to be away from their lives forever.

1. The sheeps are not completely useless, because especially the sheeps were instructed to remark casually in Napoleons hearings that rations had been increased.
2. Yes, the pigs need these less intellectual workers to support everyone elsse in everyway thereis. Those less intellectual workers do all the work and provide the production of food for everyone, even for the pigs who never do and/or work to do anything.
3. The sheep are considered to be extraordinary inept in the story, but they actually have a certain power, because they have to suppoert what Napoleon says.
THEME OF PRIDE
1. In this story, pride is harmful for the animals, because they have and/or need to work hard in order to get their food. They have to live under Napoleon's cruel power. While in the other hand, pride is beneficial for the pigs, because they learned a lot from reading books and now use their knowledge to control and manipulate all of the animals. The pigs are in charged, they make every animal do what they want, while they never have to do anything. They only live like kings. For humans, pride is neutral in this story, because they never do anything, they don't seem to care for what it's going on in gthe farm.
